Configuring venues and court pricing

The price per court is rarely the same all week — one rate applies at the weekend, another on weekday evenings, and on top of that there are players with sports cards who pay differently from everyone else. Keeping track of this by hand for every session is one of those chores that grow along with your group.

Pricing rules per day and hour

In B-Admin-Time, a venue's pricing is set up once as a set of rules: days of the week, a time range and the price per court in that range — e.g. one rate for Tuesday 18:00-20:00, another for Saturday morning. Session settlements are calculated automatically based on when the session actually took place, with no manual recalculation.

Sports card discount — separately for each venue

A player paying with a Multisport or similar card usually pays less than without one, and the size of that difference depends on the specific venue — it is not fixed across the whole app. Each venue has its own discount amount for card entry, which the admin sets once during configuration. You can read about how the discount is split between players in the article on sports cards in settlements.

Card entry limit per hour per court

Some sports cards allow only a limited number of entries at the same venue within an hour. B-Admin-Time lets you set this limit separately for each card type, so the cashier knows in advance how many people with a given card can use it at the same time, instead of finding out on the spot.

A venue catalog to import from

Instead of configuring a venue from scratch, you can import it from a venue catalog shared between groups — with the option to set your own discount if your group has different terms than the standard ones.

“There is much more clarity around the players list, venue and court numbers. It has made it easier for everyone to know where and when they are playing.” — Admin of a group of about 20 players that has been using B-Admin-Time for over 2 months

Frequently asked questions

Can different courts in the same venue have different prices?

Pricing is set for the whole venue, not for each individual court — if your courts have different prices, it is worth configuring them as separate venues in the app.

What if a venue does not have pricing configured yet?

Settlements still work — the cashier enters the amount manually as before; pricing is an optional improvement, not a requirement.

Does the sports card discount apply the same way to every card type?

No — the per-hour entry limit is set separately for each card type, so different cards can have different rules at the same venue.
