Badminton group app: courts, doubles and shuttles

B-Admin-Time is an app for running a regular badminton group: sessions split into courts and times, sign-ups with a waitlist, settling up for the court and shuttles, and a doubles ranking. The organiser no longer copies the list from the group chat into a spreadsheet after every session.

Several courts in one hall

A badminton group rarely plays on a single court. With three courts and twenty people, every court and time in B-Admin-Time is its own slot with its own spot limit. Players sign up where there’s room, and the organiser sees the whole session grid at once. More on sessions and courts.

Doubles without drawing names on paper

Once everyone is in the hall, the question is who plays with whom. The game schedule (Regular plan) sets the order of matches and assigns courts within a session, and on the Pro plan the generator picks doubles pairs and opponents based on player level and shared match history. Results feed the ELO ranking, kept separately for singles and doubles.

Court, shuttles and benefit cards

The app works out the court cost from the venue’s price list and splits it between players in proportion to playing time, taking sports benefit cards into account. Shuttles go in as an extra cost, split equally. The cashier sees who has paid and who hasn’t, as described on the settlements page. Just starting a group? Features your group will use

“There is much more clarity about the player list, the venue and the court numbers. It is easier for everyone to know where and when they are playing.”

Frequently asked questions

Does badminton work differently from other sports in the app?

Only in the details: a badminton group gets the 🏸 emoji, a ready-made “Shuttlecocks” extra cost, and new matches default to doubles. Sessions, sign-ups, settlements and the ranking work the same in every sport.

How do we split the cost of shuttles?

Add the shuttles as an extra cost of the session. The amount is split equally between the players who turned up and goes into their settlement together with the court cost.

Can the app pick doubles pairs?

Yes, on the Pro plan. The schedule generator picks pairs and opponents based on player level and shared match history. On the Regular plan you build the schedule by hand.

How much does it cost for a badminton group?

There are three plans: Lite, Regular and Pro. They differ in member limits and features, and current prices are on the pricing page. Every new group gets 14 days of full Pro access for free, with no card required.
