Tennis group app: sessions, sign-ups and costs

B-Admin-Time helps you run a regular tennis group: weekly sessions created automatically, sign-ups by court, court and ball costs settled from the venue’s price list, and a ranking from singles and doubles results.
The same slot every week
Most tennis groups play at the same time every week. A recurring rule (Regular plan) creates the next sessions for that slot on its own, and sign-ups can open at a scheduled time. See how session templates and automatic scheduling work.
Different courts, different rates
Court prices change with the time of day. You save the price list in the venue settings, and the app works out the session cost and splits it between players in proportion to playing time. How to set it up: venue and court pricing. How the split works: settlements.
Singles and doubles in one group
In tennis the same group plays singles one week and doubles the next. You pick the match type for each match, and the ELO ranking (Pro plan) is kept separately for singles and doubles.
Outdoor courts and weather
Playing outside in summer? Mark which courts are outdoor in the venue settings, and every slot on them shows an hourly forecast: conditions, temperature, rain and wind (MET Norway data — the same as yr.no). When the forecast two days before the game shows a thunderstorm, heavy rain or cold, the admin gets a suggestion to cancel. They cancel the chosen slots with one button, and players get notified. Your group decides what counts as bad weather and who gets the alert.
How the app adapts to Tennis
- Sessions are split into courts and time slots — the way you book them at the venue.
- A new match defaults to singles — you can switch any match to doubles.
- Extra costs come with a ready-made “Balls” item, split equally between the session’s players.
- The group and its sessions are marked with the 🎾 emoji.
- Sign-ups, the waitlist, settlements, the ELO ranking and notifications work exactly as in every other sport.

Frequently asked questions
Does tennis work differently from badminton in the app?
Only in the details: new matches default to singles, extra costs come with a ready-made “Balls” item, and the group gets the 🎾 emoji. Sessions, sign-ups, settlements and the ranking work the same in every sport.
How do we settle up for balls and the court?
The app works out the court cost from the venue’s price list and splits it in proportion to playing time. Balls go in as an extra cost, split equally between the session’s players.
Do singles and doubles have separate rankings?
Yes. The ELO ranking is kept separately for singles and doubles, so doubles results don’t affect the singles ranking. Match results and the ranking are on the Pro plan.
Does the app show the weather for outdoor courts?
Yes. Courts marked as outdoor in a venue show an hourly MET Norway forecast next to every slot (up to about 9 days ahead). When the forecast is bad, the admin gets a suggestion to cancel and can cancel the chosen slots; players are notified. Available on every plan.
How much does it cost for a tennis group?
There are three plans: Lite, Regular and Pro. They differ in member limits and features, and current prices are on the pricing page. Every new group gets 14 days of full Pro access for free, with no card required.
